Tunnel Kiln Furnace
Type of continuous kiln that is used for firing ceramic products such as bricks, tiles, refractory materials, and pottery. It is called a tunnel kiln because of its long, tunnel-like structure. In a tunnel kiln, the products are loaded onto cars or carts which then move through the kiln on a track or conveyor system. The firing process occurs as the products pass through different zones within the kiln, each with its own temperature profile.
