DUNGS (ATEX) Pressure Switches GW….HP X and GGW … X
DUNGS ATEX pressure switches are used for switching circuits when the pressure deviates from the set value, with the nominal switching point adjusted by means of a setting wheel with scale.
Operating principle: Mechanical via spring + bellows/membrane → no auxiliary power required.
Switching function:
Increasing pressure → NC opens, NO closes.
Decreasing pressure → NC closes, NO opens.
GW…A4 HP/2 X (High-Pressure Switch, Overpressure)
Function: | Overpressure switch. |
Design: | Metal bellows + spring. |
Materials: | Stainless steel 1.4541 → resistant to aggressive media. |
Applications: | Gas, air, flue/exhaust gases, biogas, sulfuric acid (≤1.0 vol.%). |
Connection: | (Not specified here, but typically G ¼). |
GGW…A4/2 X (Differential Pressure Switch, Overpressure side)
Function: | Differential pressure (positive pressure p2 > atmosphere). |
Design: | Membrane + spring. |
Connection: | G ¼ → pressure inlet. |
G ⅛ must not be closed. | |
Application: | Reacts on overpressure → switches circuit when nominal value reached. |
GGW…A4-U/2 X (Differential Pressure Switch, Negative Pressure side)
Function: | Differential pressure (negative pressure p2 < atmosphere). |
Design: | Membrane + spring. |
Connection: | G ⅛ → pressure inlet. |
G ¼ must not be closed. | |
Application: | Reacts on underpressure → switches circuit when nominal value reached. |
