IGOL Oil
The Igol Oil series diathermic oil boilers are machines that use both mineral and synthetic diathermic oil as a carrier fluid, the main characteristic of which is to have a high boiling temperature at atmospheric pressure (about 400 – 500 ° C ).
Igol Oil generators represent the maximum expression in the construction of diathermic oil boilers. It is built in monobloc execution, horizontal or vertical, pressurized, with three smoke passes, consisting of a double row of pipes placed side by side with several principles according to the potential and spirally wound in two concentric cylinders.
They are distinguished by:
- Very low thermal inertia thanks to the minimum use of refractory material
- Quick start-up due to the correct ratio of the diathermic oil content
- Thermal stability to cracking thanks to the equally distributed head losses of the tube bundle
- However, three smoke passes
- High efficiency due to the generous sizing of the heating surface and the large combustion chamber, with the possibility of installing various heat recovery systems to raise the efficiency up to 94%
The concept of a diathermic oil system provides numerous variations, by combining an evaporator with an Igol Oil boiler it is possible to produce steam or superheated water.
The system for indirect steam production is supplied in a single-block version package pre-assembled in the workshop, the installation does not require foundation works and only the connections in place of the appropriate connections are necessary.
